Patriot Brewing is unique in that it combines its own beer with the ability to make your own. The business started in 2013 as a way to promote interest in home brewing and even offers home brewing courses.

Since 2020, Matt and Jennifer Misfeldt have operated the veteran-owned nano brewery on-site. The shift made sense given Matt’s experience as a homebrewer dating back to 2007 not to mention his access to the best ingredients from the retail side of the business.
Located at 2929 N. 204th Street in Elkhorn, the brewery offers seven styles of beer and a hard cider. They rotate beer throughout the year and even offer free homemade root beer for the kiddos and those who wish not to partake.

Current offerings include a Double IPA, Pale Ale, Stout, Amber, Blonde, British Bitter, Elderflower Wit, and a Mango Apple Cider. While they don’t serve food, you are welcome to bring your own from one of the nearby restaurants. Not only that, but Matt’s also willing to share his recipes.

This is part of a series in which we explore the history of Omaha’s breweries past and present.
