The buildings at 24th Avenue and Jones Street were constructed in 1890 and served as the home to Ace Liquor, Hob Nob Inn Cafe, Haggar Insurance Agency, Petersen’s Bakery and The 9¢ Way Cleaners & Laundry.

It’s fascinating to me to see how much these buildings and neighborhoods have changed over the years. The picture at night is from 1941 while the other black and whites are from 1953. Today it appears the building is residential.
