A new urban park in the Builder’s District in North Downtown will be the site of outdoor movie nights throughout the summer. Referred to as Film Streams On the Green, they will be played at 724 N 16th Street in the developing district that includes new buildings such as the Kiewit Headquarters and 1501 Mike Fahey along with longtime businesses including Pettit’s Pastry and Happy Bar.

When planning for the park, Noddle Companies opted for a more natural setting with simple features aimed at providing a gathering spot for not only movie nights but picnicking and relaxation. It features a green space oriented toward the giant movie screen along with a stage for outdoor performances in addition to a bike and walking pathway. Surrounded by a fence to create a controlled environment, it will also include trees and landscaping.

Among the movies to be shown on Film Streams on the Green are Moonrise Kingdom, A League of Their Own, Mamma Mia, Raising Arizona, Knives Out and Young Frankenstein.
