For those that are unfamiliar with inCommon Community Development, the local nonprofit was founded in 2003. They invest in communities to help break the cycle of children who live in poverty growing up to become adults living in poverty. The nonprofit started in the Walnut Hill neighborhood before focusing in the Park Avenue neighborhood. In 2022 they recently saved the nearby Hanscom and Georgia Row Houses and converted them into affordable apartment units.
