The 28-unit Leavenworth Lofts apartment building is being constructed at 3612 Leavenworth Street. Two houses used sit on the site between the Kwik Shop on the east and Fernshire Plaza building on the west. The site has been an empty lot since at least 2015.

Led by Sullivan Development Company, the market-rate apartments are located within walking distance to the Med Center. They will consist of both long and short-term leases that include one bedroom units with and without a den as well as fifth floor penthouses with private rooftop terraces. The short-term rental options on the lower levels will be available through Vrbo.

Concierge housekeeping services will be available throughout the building along with a controlled-entrance parking garage. It will also include an art gallery in the lobby that spotlights exhibits by local artists on a rotating basis. Additional amenities include workout facilities and a dog run.

It is expected that the short term rentals will most often be utilized by traveling nurses and visitors to the Med Center as well as those attending the annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting or other large events.
