A 73-unit apartment complex called the Square is in the process of being constructed beteween 30th and 31st and Leavenworth Streets. Located on the south side of Leavenworth across from the Triangle apartments. In the recent past, the site just east of Fashion Cleaners was home to Novedades Veronica, Grinn & Barrett and two old houses that were split into apartments.

The pet-friendly Square apartment building will feature studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments that include smart home features, package lockers, community room with a kitchen, gaming area, coffee bar, fitness center and a covered deck. Construction is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter of this year.
